The library is the heart of the Institute or College. It plays a vital role in the development of both students and faculty. The library curates a comprehensive collection of resources and creates an environment conducive to the teaching and learning process.

  • To Motivate the Student to get optimum benefits of Books, Journals, E-resources, CD’S etc for learning Purpose.
  • To orient the student about utilization of DELNET, INFLIBNET, SHODHGANGA and access of the MCES library.

Library Rules and Regulations :

General Rules:

1. Identity Card is compulsory to Issue the library Books.

2. Discussion in the library is Strictly Prohibited kindly maintain silence.

3. For access to the library, membership is compulsory. Without prior permision nobody is allowed to access library, because we have closed access system.

4. No personal belongings are allowed inside the library.

5. Textbooks, printed materials and issued books are not allowed to be carried inside the library.

6. Using Mobile phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises.

7. Every time user has to Enter the name and Sign to the register at the entrance counter before entering the library.

8. The librarian may recall any book from any member at any time and the member shall return the same immediately.

9. Library borrower cards are not transferable. The borrower is responsible for the books borrowed on his/her card.

10. Keep your bags & books outside the library.

11. An issued book must be returned within 7 days otherwise an overdue fine of 2/- Rupee per day will be charged.

Admission to Library:

Students are allowed to enter the library only on production of their authorized/valid Identity Cards.

Circulation Issue System:

Books will be issued on presentation of the library card along with the ID card. Students are instructed to check the books while borrowing and they will be responsible for any type of damage or mutilation noticed at the time of return.

Overdue Charges:

Materials borrowed should be returned on or before the due date stamped, if returned late overdue fine will be charged for the delayed period.

Book Lost:

If the books are lost, then the borrower shall replace the books of the same edition or latest edition or pay double cost of the book after getting permission from the librarian.

Loss of cards:

Loss of borrower card should be reported to the librarian. A duplicate card may be issued upon submission of a formal application and payment of the fine.

Validity of cards:

One Academic Year.

Care of Library Books:

Students are required to handle the books and journals very carefully. Marking with pencil, writing, highlighting, tearing pages, or mutilating them in any way will be viewed very seriously. In such cases, the reader shall be held responsible unless these issues are brought to the notice of the library staff at the time of issue.

The working hours of the library are as follows:


Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30 pm


Saturday 8:30am to 3:30 pm


Sunday: Closed
